It's true. MLB set a record for revenue in 2019. Obviously the huge drop is due to COVID restrictions mainly, but this latest stunt with Georgia's voter laws and moving the all-star game will likely help to continue the downward trend. Once COVID restrictions are lifted, I'd bet the revenue will shoot back up though.
