We are simply put, too many generations from not having it. My grandparents and great grandparents and even parents fought World Wars and Civil Wars. My family is from a line of Quakers who were thrown in prison for their religious beliefs before coming to this country. Young people simply do not understand what it is like to not have freedom. They do not comprehend that reality.
