I don't know why anyone gets tested for covid. You get your name and personal info known, can be tracked , and given no treatment by anyone and pay for the privilege.
I had to go to hospital for 3 days and they tested me every single day, because I had commented I had just returned back from Nevada on a flight. Then I had to be tested again for surgical prep 2 months later.
Now I'm all concerned about the testing itself being an issue. <Ack>
