I've been here for a short bit, and wanted to share my perspective after some deep prayer ... I am not a Biblical scholar, and will not be sharing any verses. Easy enough for anyone to find references to what I outline below. (Online Bible FTW.)
I believe in the messages of Q. I believe the GA is Jesus Christ coming back to earth. I believe that we cannot sit back and wait for "happenings." This is bigger. I believe that our job its to 1) wake people up and 2) pray for God to send a sign to wake people up - Daily. I believe that "tribunals" are the tribulation. I believe that the world is coming to a precipice of the battle between good and evil. I believe that God has a plan and we need to have faith that He will do what he needs to when the time is right.
These beliefs keep my sane. I welcome your thoughts.
I believe Trump is one of many messengers. This is beyond him ... this is global.
I also believe we are not privy to God's timeline. Repent and pray daily - you never now when it will happen.
Do we all not sin on a daily basis, even if "minor"? His hand is always open, and repentance isn't a checklist, IMO; but if you need to come to terms with specific past sins then so be it (I do from time to time when I remember them.)
I feel that earnestly acknowledging you are a sinner before Jesus and asking His forgiveness is enough, but I suppose I like to seek it daily because my worldly condition is known to me, no matter how hard to try to walk in His footsteps. Most days I do fine, but will find myself using His name in vain accidentally or some other such sin, hence my daily repentance.
I also figure what could ever be too large a burden to me right now that my soul's eternal plan would take a backseat? I can think of nothing, so I make a few minutes to repent each time I pray.
It's not for everyone, but those are my thoughts on the matter.
Thanks for the thoughtful reply and you're right; I wasn't clear about my motivations but it's not that I feel like I'm in any kind of risk by NOT doing it daily, but more of a voluntary act that I feel keeps me more jumble and mindful in my day-to-day.
I am perfect, at least I was made that way, just like you were; there's no contesting that and I agree. Though as humans descended from the humans of Genesis, I believe we are still susceptible to satan's influence and temptation which is also something I should have explained in my original comment to support that point.
I don't think this makes us any less perfect by creation, but we were also given free will for that very reason, IMO: to actively CHOOSE G_d instead of worldly idols and satan's works, which has definitely been the path chosen for many that folks at GreatAwakening rally against (to me, anyway).
All that to say: point taken, and I agree! Thanks again for taking the time to reply and your latter paragraphs really hit home.
Yes, but YMMV. I am imperfect and have done things that need it.
