[THEY] are trying to rehabilitate Hunter in the public eye. If you get your client on Kimmel or any of the late-night shows, that's where way too many NPC's get what they think is "news." Show him looking normal, laughing at Kimmel's lame jokes, their audience will embrace him and forget any unpleasantness that he MIGHT or MIGHT NOT have engaged in previously. It's a form of "redemption" for the Left... if Jimmy Kimmel can like the guy, then they have to as well.

These shows are NOT for the best and brightest, ya' know, they are for the widely ignorant sheeple with IQs lower than 90. So a few semi-sharp knives in the drawer might have scrapped through college for some useless degree, but they are just as ignorant as the rest of that demographic.
