I think so, but if you're on an older version of Windows (such as Windows 7, 8, Vista or XP) I can't help you because they've all been deprecated and thus are massive security risks because they are not patched.
I was just providing basic advice. There are apps out there that will help you record your screen so if you don't use the native OS tool, you can still find a way to do it but it might cost you a bit in licensing fees to use the capture software. Or if you use a free app, you'll have to deal with watermarks, low resolution captures, or advertisements taking up part of your screen.
