If you read the square footage of the house & the size of her lot it is hardly a grandiose estate or mansion. Many middle American properties have Mother-in-law tiny houses as well. The fact that she chooses to buy in a neighborhood that is primarily white screams something quite clear about the black community that ONLY the black community can address & change. $1.4 million dollars is a lot of money, but not for California real estate.
