In January of 64, while cruising up the Saigon River for a state visit of Saigon, I had no idea that I was sucking in Agent Orange during that visit. That a mask wouldn't have prevented my breathing it in would have been my 18 YO observation even then... Just that the ships ventilation system moved prodigious amounts of outside air into the sleeping compartments..
