I know the general consensus around GA.Win is that the vaccines are bad, and with valid reason (mRNA is gene editing, J&J has its problems), but with the NovaVax vaccine, which is from a relative unknown and uses the same technology as hepatitis shots, I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this objectively.

Will not even pretend to understand most of this, but why take any vaccine for an illness with such a high survivability rate ( 98% plus) and lets see data from animal tests and long term clinical trials.
This is a pretty well written article but my spidey senses are tingling. (1) It's CNN (2) They jumped on this vaccine production before there was even a pandemic (3) Their method still involves teaching the body to attack spike proteins, and this still allows the various as yet unresolved issues such as attacking placental protein.
And the spike protein is thought to be the thing doing the endothelial damage leading to clotting issues. It is CNN, so a gander over to the scientific literature (if there is one!!) is due to check out 'translation'. But worrisome is they're using a new adjuvant, Matrix-X, and adjuvants have real issues, think back to Gulf War Syndrome and use of squalene. Here's the first thing I found on a search of matrix-x:

I'm not familiar with the Gulf War episode but would like to know more. Squalene is a natural component of our skin and frequently used in cosmetics--NOT DERIVED FROM TORTURED CHILDREN before the usual OMG group shows up, but from olive oil (just use olive oil on your skin).
I bought a book years ago, only partially read it, "Vaccine A". This link from amazon gives a good discussion under the comment by Washington Post:

It's EXPERIMENTAL. So...hard pass
