Good point if you minimize use of tech it won’t be a distraction. I’m not trying to make it be the scapegoat. Yea having a balanced life is key.
I guess the point I was trying to get across was how tech was gonna magically be the solution. At least I thought that when I was young. But having lived in Japan and seeing how they want to have robots care for the elderly and also in China where so many things are done online from ordering food and groceries, paying for everything with We Chat or Alipay it just seems like some human interactions have been washed away.
I’ve only been back in America for about half a year and still in a little bit of a reverse cultural shock. For example it seems like some living out in California say “blah blah blah so yeah”. I guess I might be still in PTSD since CCP virus started.
