Don't get me wrong, it's bad. It's very bad. But that being said, for example would you say what's happening in Minneapolis is the result of the ordinary folk hating each other or paid radicals?
It's pretty much the same thing in SA. Most south africans are chilled, loving people just trying to get by. Government and media do their very best to divide people along racial lines so they are more easily controlled. Eff is just the militant wing of the anc.
The lockdown has opened the eyes of a lot of people.
Like I said, we'll see if I'm just a hopeless idealist after the local elections. But I've a feeling a bloodbath is coming for them.
Unfortunately though the opposition party spent the last 4/5 years scorching their support base. They've only recently righted the ship, but a lot of damage has been done. So the opposition vote is split among many smaller parties.
Democratic Alliance. Previous leader was a black man who went full socialist and anc lite on policies when he got elected.
The new guy has been saying a lot of the right stuff, but many, like myself have been burned and don't trust easily. He's a libertarian.
There are about thirty smaller parties centered around a myriad of issues. What bothers me though is any party slightly right of centre is automatically labelled far right. Even ones that are very moderately conservative.
