I think it's assumed that Moloch came from the Assyrians, not necessarily the Phoenicians (who did influence north Israel). https://classicalwisdom.com/mythology/monsters/assyria-land-demons/

The assyrians (and sumerians) had a LOT of pagan demons.

I think the stories of the eastern Church and Syriac and early Christianity are really interesting. Jesus spoke aramaic.
