interesting that legislators who by far are mostly not engineers can pick a year out of their ass and make it so. I see big problems especially in case of EVs with grid which is not designed for more load added to it from EVs. Lots of issues with grid as far as defense and national security aspects. If solar flare takes out grid there goes everything including charging of EVs. logistics of stuff getting around etc?
