On face value, this just seems totally ridiculous. How can someone "accidently" give an injection of the wrong medication, more than once, and it just happen to be saline? Who put the saline into the viles?
Unless,..........these were the "control" samples of an experiment.
I was going to make this exact same comment. When you're in trials you always have a control group. That group thinks they got something but really didn't.
