Or is it just me? I can't remember the last decent night's sleep I had. Please don't get me wrong, I'm so relieved to be "awake," but my brain never shuts down. I'm trying my best to wait out the plan, but some days are tougher than others.
I'm so grateful for Q and this board. Thanks for letting me vent!
I'll post the advice I gave to someone else "Absolutely my friend. I used to suffer from insomnia due to stress and depression. Eating, sleeping, rest is important. I think the "patriots don't sleep" quote is not meant as in, don't sleep at night but as in, awake vs asleep concerning what is going on in the world. We don't "blindly" follow. We don't "sleepwalk" through the world. My fren, is your insomnia due to stress, anxiety, depression? If so, (that was the case for me) this might help you: https://youtu.be/NtL2hb-wCMo I am finally free of my insomnia, I used to toss and turn and couldn't calm my mind and body at night. It was one of my biggest problems - like seriously, it drove me mad and now this huge weight has been lifted off me. Otherwise, do you exercise regularly? Do you go out into the sun enough? Vitamin D (D3) drops can work absolute miracles if you suspect you might not be getting enough sunshine." Furthermore, a detox from news is the most effective strategy for quick short-term relief: Stop consuming news, even this website, for a week or at least a couple of days. Spend time in nature. Bless you my friend - and take care of your mental health - it is directly connected to your physical health :)
I hear ya. I definitely need to spend less time on the computer. I guess I'm afraid I'm going to miss something. I know that's ridiculous. Going camping on vaycay in a couple of weeks. I won't have the access to the computer that I have at home. Looking forward to 2 straight weeks of R & R.
I have taken to walking around a central block in the complex-about .4 miles each time, so about once an hour I get up from whatever I am sitting down for and do the walk so I get at least 2 miles in a day-what has surprised me is where this comes from-during the lockdown I didn't walk this walk.. :)
Definitely - and maybe you can even benefit from the audiobook :) You deserve to take care of yourself. We will stay vigilant while you take a break, we all need one sometimes ❤️
