I kid you not, his casket was driven there in a green picket up truck that looked like something out of Sanford and Son. He was given no eulogies at all.
The articles about it all say "He would have wanted it that way..."
I say BS to that. No way he wanted his casket brought over partly hanging out of the bed of a dark green pick up truck. I mean just look at how they drove his casket there. This is a middle finger to Phillip if I ever saw one.
Their reason is because of climate change and World War II. The theme of his funeral was "green". He was driven in a green land rover that the article mentions looks like a pick up truck and the ones in charge of his funeral were members of the Association of Green Funeral Directors (same people who handled Princess Diana's funeral). His coffin was a woollen coffin that is very biodegradable. They say because Prince Phillip was a big believer in climate change.
Apparently Prince Phillip's funeral was planned out years ago to be this huge ceremony of pomp and circumstance but due to to "COVID" they made a bunch of last-minute changes. They insist again "He would have wanted it that way".
Damn, lol. I thought the tricked out Rover was the best part of the whole thing. If I didn't have my heart set on a viking funeral, I'd love a Land Rover hearse.
That vehicle looks almost as nice as the one Jed C used to move, but at least Granny wasn't sticking out of the back. Couldn't it have been made long enough after all that planning?

I really don't buy that.
Philip the big believer in a green world.
Everything in his life was inefficient , Rolls Royce Phantoms at 5MPG.
Billions of litres of water wasted on all the bouquets they received over 70 years, the environmental damage from confetti and ticker tape.
Astronomical heating bills for 3 huge castles/ palaces and countless get away homes on the estates.
Servants
Helicopters as a standard mode of travel backed up by kerosene guzzling planes.
Then there are all the products that he approved that were not eco friendly.
But the big one is the shooting and hunting.
Unbelievable.
