Huh. Well, this company doesn't "make" chips- they have custom chip designs they contract out to a chip fab to have built. Last I checked, semiconductor-grade silicon and rare earths weren't on the sanctions list.
Does that mean the chip fabs (foundries) they built in China that were supposed to take the world by storm aren't producing enough defect-free yields? Shocker. The Chinese are famous for dependability and top-notch QC.
Or is it that those fabs are at capacity producing more profitable chips for western companies? Capitalism strikes again. Damn Imperialists paying more are certainly the problem.
