Well regulated militia is a reference to the US military, not some guys playing soldiers in the woods. I really don’t mean to be snarky and I’m worried I’m coming across that way after going into this earlier with others. It bugs me the level of ignorance our side has regarding the second amendment and its original meaning.

Basically, because our country needs a standing army, we need guns to protect ourselves if that army is ever used against us. That’s what it says. Hopefully this helps. https://youtu.be/uEvLrdXz72o
