The argument that I've heard is "but the virus is carried through the air in large droplets that can't get through the mask".

The answer to this (in case you don't know) is "so what happens after a few minutes when the droplet evaporates and you suck in the viruses that it was carrying?"

I feel like it's a bit confusing, it makes it seem that those smallest particles are "filtered" by a mask, meaning the mask with filter them out.
