They have to be able to provide all ballots cast (even those ajudicated and thrown out,) those ballots have to be in the correct condition (remember the sharpie ballots,) the computers can't show evidence of tampering, the computers will tested to see if they ajudicate an inappropriately high percentage of ballots, signatures on absentee ballots will be scrutinized by a human being and not a machine, etc.
