What should happen is different from what will happen. Don’t expect it to be a great revelation with a universal call to investigate the situation and rectify it. Similarly, law enforcement won’t swoop in to apprehend the perpetrators.

If they find fraud expect the media and government to go all-in on discrediting it as being partisan and compromised. Then it will become a political fight to have the findings addressed and not swept under the rug.
