It's horrible.

The show is blatant, preachy propaganda for globalism, open borders, and critical race theory. It spits on the legacy of the Captain America movies. And as if that wasn't bad enough, it's slow-paced and boring. There's even a lengthy subplot about Falcon's sister trying to keep from losing her fishing boat due to debt.

As for the Winter Soldier mind-control activation code mentioned in the OP, that is dealt with in far more detail in "Captain America: Civil War", and only briefly touched upon in "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier".
