I have a cousin who miscarried 5 or 6 before having her first child. She had to stay bedridden until her little girl was born. Then she got pregnant again. The ob/gyn did a procedure of sewing/clamping off (something along that line) of her cervix. She had a weak cervix which caused her to miscarry in her early trimester. Once he did that, she could go about her daily life. Then they scheduled her for delivery where they removed whatever they used to clamp off her cervix and she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. So there are things that can be done to insure a mother of carrying her child full term. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. My son called again tonight, and they are trying the IVF procedure again this week. Keep your fingers crossed for them!
My prayers are with them!
