Do you think an alternate therapy will be developed?

Yes! I had thought about this. I have friends in the field, actually. They developed some muscle atrophy therapy for nasa, supposed to make your muscles last longer in orbit.. longer missions and what not.
From what I understand, my fiends who are amature genetic engineers (biohackers) can pretty much insert any gene they want into the human genome. It's really not hard. I've always been deeply opposed to it. Always seemed very foolish to me.. all of their research got brick walled about 2 and a half years ago, the fda had a fit and didn't want them doing any research of that kind (human trials). Funny how little time has gone by and here we are with a nearly mandated gene therapy lol
That being said, I know there are many brilliant minds who are aware of this issue and are working on it. These "correction therapies" will likely be a tutorial.. that's how easy it is. Very unlikely that you will be bake to purchase or even be given the RNA due to FDA regulations.. just my observations
