Praying for you and your family! My Dad overdosed in college and was in a mental institution for almost 9 months. The doctors told my grandparents that he would never be normal again. He miraculously recovered and was released. He stopped doing drugs but then began drinking. One night, when he was drunk, my grandmother told him that she had raised him to be better than that and that he was a disgrace and bad example to his siblings, especially his little brother who my Dad adored. The Lord allowed this mother’s rebuke to strike its mark and humble my Dad. My Dad was an atheist but prayed that night “God, I don’t believe you’re real, but if you are, show me your Son”. He started reading the New Testament and about 11 days later the Lord saved him and blessed him with a wonderful Christian wife, 3 children, and 12 grandchildren and counting. He is also the most honest and just person I know and as he was raising me and my siblings, he didn’t just tell us to always do the right thing, he showed us by his example. The Lord performs miracles even today and can save the most broken among us. I will be praying for your daughters healing and that the Lord uses her in a mighty way to help others and raise her children to know the Lord as well.
