Was doing spring cleaning around the house and property and had all day to see all the blessings that the Lord has bestowed on my family and I.
No I don't have toys like the neighbors, my house isn't big, my property isn't huge, my vehicles aren't new, I'm not a millionare.
In spite of all that stuff, My family is healthy, our home a great fit for us, our property is big enough for the family to have fun, I don't need to take the cars somewhere to have them serviced and don't have payments, I make a good wage with benefits.
The Lord has blessed us all and recognizing what you have instead of what you want seems to be a mindset of yester-year.
Thank to Lord and have a great day ??????
God bless you and your family, and for teaching your children how to be happy with what you have, instead of always wanting more more more. It sounds like the Lord has blessed you. And what a great day it is!
It's a beautiful day up here in the Midwest. Good day to be outside working. Have some lovely tulips blooming around the property and all the foliage is sprouting. Couldn't ask for a better day to enjoy all the blessing.
The LORD is definitely good to HIS Sheep!
OP, Thank you for honoring God with your post! We all know there is no "magic" in our faith in Christ Jesus. However, it is GRATITUDE to our Lord that invites the Holy Spirit of God to be powerfully present in us/with us. (Psalm 22:3)
Want more of the Power of God in your life? One good way to have that power is to HONOR GOD with sincere praise and thanksgiving! We open ourselves to His presence (and power) in this way! LOL! The minions of the enemy KNOW that singing/lifting God's praise together in worship OPENS our lives to CHRIST among us! Ever wonder why they don't want us singing together at Church?
May God's sweetest and richest blessings surround you and your loved ones! THANK YOU for being here! MAGA!
I still have my first car. (I have a new one too). But I couldn't give up the old one. 22 years old. Love that little corolla. I used to care about having newer things. I have graduated to appreciating the old more.
Way to still have your first vehicle. I have usually bought fixer uppers and then sold them when I stumble across the next good deal. Drove the wife crazy but I've simmered down and have settled back to Jeeps. Gonna stick with the since they're easy and cheap to fix (same as your Toyota). Plus I like solid axle 4x4s.
You are like my hubby. lol. He has simmered down too. But he used to buy a 'new' used truck every 6 months. My kids were raised in that corolla, I can't bear to part with it. It's my little 'go kart' to get around town now. I love that car.
I learned it from my dad. He used to buy cars from the junkyard and fix them, use them as daily drivers and then sell them when he got the next car. Working with your hands and turning junk into something useful again is no longer considered the way to live.
I have an old school hubby. He buys everything used. And I love him for it. He can fix and build anything. There aren't many men around like him anymore. My dad was the same way though, no wonder I was attracted to him. :)
My father in-law is a fixer as well. That's probably why my wife married me too ?
Awe, you are probably correct :) Many blessings to you both xo
