It's getting worse because it has to. You're awake so you see it. The sheep are still in their trance. It has to get bad enough to shake a majority of them from that trance. Better days lie ahead.
There is no telling how bad it will get. Maybe it's worse than we expect. Maybe it's not. We literally have to wait and see. But we were told to enjoy the show.
