Hey All, I wanted to share with you some wisdom that I've learned over the years with regards to sharing "unbelievable" ideas such as what's discussed here at GA.

Here's some of what I've learned:

Important: In order to bypass objections that you get from someone while you're sharing something that seems strange and outrageous to them, rather than make bold claims, ask questions. Making definitive statements puts their brains in a defensive posture, because this is how the brain protects them, but asking questions puts their brains into a process of exploring and/or validating.

Therefore, don't make bold claims anymore. Instead, ask questions that get them thinking so they come up with their own conclusions. They already don't think for themselves, so they don't need us telling them what to think, either. Rather, they need to be challenged to sort it out themselves.

Here are a few questions that I've raised with an old friend recently. To date he has been immovable in his confidence in the goodness of the Federal Government, the MSM, etc. I think I may have begun to reach him today, finally, through some of these sincere questions. I wasn't argumentative and I wasn't making bold claims or statements. I was simply asking his opinion.

  • Do you think it's possible that hundreds of thousands of humans could be imported/exported without the Federal Government knowing about it?

  • Per https://www.dosomething.org/us/facts/11-facts-about-human-trafficking, a large percentage of trafficked victims come out of the foster care system. Given that this system is operated by the Federal Government, do you think it's possible that they don't know about it?

  • Given Google/FB/Big Tech's advanced tracking, and the fact that every person in the world with the internet has a digital signature that's obtained through Fingerprinting (which is named this way because your unique behaviors on the web are as unique to you as your fingerprints are) do you think it's possible that several hundred thousand people across the US, and 2 million people across the world, could be imported/exported every single year without the knowledge of these companies?

  • With these insane stats of several hundred thousand people being trafficked each year in the US alone, have you ever wondered why there's radio silence about it in the media? Have you ever wondered why there would be such outrage about kids in cages at the border but human trafficking is basically never talked about in the media? Both are horrible, of course, but would you consider the concern for these to be even a little disproportionate? Honest question. Do you think the coverage on these two topics is fairly distributed?

  • Given all of the above, can you think of any reasons that all the parties mentioned above (the Federal gov, big tech, and the MSM) would remain silent on it despite knowing that they wield the power to expose it and all that are involved?

Turning your statements into questions has the power to take them out of "certain about what they know" mode and into "wow I actually don't know mode." Once this has happened, you should still avoid berating them with info. Let them work it out for themselves. Tell them you have plenty of resources if they're ever interested. Maybe send them a link or two, but leave it at that. One of my personal favs is this one because it implicates both the Federal Gov and the MSM:
