Some of the dangerously stupid could be saved and no longer be dangerously stupid.

If they have been brainwashed and wake up, they can be valuable assets to freedom.

They can wake up others.

That's why we care.

But it is difficult to know who is going to stay stupid forever and who will wake up -- who will drag others down and who will lift others up.
