Same as it is in the USA: Law Enforcement will never allow anyone to disobey and will kill anyone who does. It's not really about "law enforcement" but the psychology of authoritarianism -- people are always considered "perps" or "subjects", never innocent human beings.

Yeah. And unlike sheriffs in the states , “police” aren’t accountable to a voting constituency.

They are revenue collecting thugs that operate under the color of law.
