I think there are several reasons they do this. I think that it is causing problems within the LGBTQ community and feminism. Transgenders playing in women sports is a problem. They need the division. It weakens our military by allowing trans in and then paying for their conversion. It takes 6 months so they are out on medical leave and who would take a military seriously with all that going on. It is also really impacting the teenagers and young adults. While I spent most of my life not ever knowing a tranny (I worked with one), a few years ago, my daughter's marching band had 2 girls who believed they were boys and one was going through gene therapy. My one daughter identifies as an it and my friend's daughter's girlfriend did a go fund me to have her breast removed because they made her want to die because she also identifies as an it. Get into these young girls and boys heads, convince them that there is something wrong with them and put them in a marginalized group. This way they feel like outcasts and oppressed. It also takes away the role of men and women in society. More and more parents are choosing to raise their children gender neutral and then let them decide their sex. I know of several parents that chose to give their children gender neutral names. The demasculation of society also makes us weak and hurts our military. Blurring gender lines destroys the fabric of our society. Convincing children that they are not a boy or not a girl opposite of the way they were born causes major mental health issues. It truly is a vicious cycle and our teachers support it. My daughter's band teacher would make accommodations to make them feel comfortable and I heard my son's orchestra teacher explaining (middle school) that during concerts he lets them choose to wear a tux or dress based on how they identified. At the beginning of the year, he asked for their pronouns. My son was a bit confused on that one. Sorry for the long response here.
