It's not that they want to be rich(some do) it's about comparing yourself to them. That's one reason why social media is awful. But yes Christians do that too. It's part of American "cult"ure

Then you have debt. Buy a new car or what not and become slaves to the system. Are you really rich? Or just perceiving to be rich to look the part.
