It would have been better if this article dug into why President Trump placed the military in charge of vaccine development. What was the purpose of that? It sure caused a lot of consternation with the DS when he did it.

I wonder if it was a smoke-screen (distribution by the army), in order to draw attention away from the new authority he was investing in military research and development.
