Could be freemasons were infiltrated since those days, I suppose. I suspect it was always satanic at the higher levels of it.

Freemasons do good with one hand publicly while they use the other hand for evil in the shadows. Makes me wonder if history was writtin in such a way that it only shows the good hand.
