I thought the media pushed stories of deaths and reactions were due to white hat overtaking of the media.

Why weren't the MSM doing vaccine reaction stories earlier then?

Mentioned in the article, they weren't flipped until mid-late 2020, until then they were also against Trump pushed vaccines (see the segment linked).
