There is more masons that we would like to admit. By the symbolism I would guess to say he knows quite a bit about them. The x factor dude said that most never find out that they worship Lucifer because it is a weening out system. If they are not sure whether someone will commit to Lucifer, then they never make it to that level. Maybe he is putting it out there in the hopes someone will invite him in.
