Gates stated that there is over a 20:1 return on investment for vaccines https://youtu.be/Hwh5hkENC1M Does anyone know how much they are charging insurance companies per vaccine? Last year I was attacked by a raccoon while walking to my car in the morning, so I had to get some rabies shots and they charged my insurance company over 22,000 for those couple shots.
I already had my tetanus shot but did you mean rabies? I know what you mean though. I am not sure how the rabies vaccine works but it looks like it requires human immune globulin, and they claim it works if given after being bitten. I felt like garbage for 2 days after each injection, but I didn't get rabies so that is a plus. Animal control couldn't find it so its a mystery if he had it or not, but at least I am protected in case I need to go wrestle a wild animal in the next few years. Still won't get the C-19 ever and rabies sounds like a terrible way to go so I took my chances on that one.
LOL I was told by EMT that I was the first raccoon attack they have seen in their time on the job. Lucky me. Little bastard was hiding under my car, opened the door, heard a hiss and bam, it was on my leg before I even knew what was happening. A couple teeth pierced right through my jeans. The best part was I had just started a new job and had to explain that to my supervisor. Started with "you are not going to believe this one, but I am going to be in late today due to..."
Oh, there you go. The vaccine is "free".
Someone just asked who is paying for all this "free" stuff. Well, the answer is always the taxpayer.
The insurance companies certainly don't pay for it so it must be the government (read US taxpayer).
Yeah... "free"... yeah...

Last I’ve read, it’s about $2-300 per shot.
And according to their own data, the tetanus vaccine won’t build immunity fast enough to help, if you get it after being bit.

Ah, I meant tetanus. They tried to push that one on me after a cat bite, but I declined.
Rabies is one of the few vaccines I’ll compromise on. I’m glad you don’t seem to have lasting effects from it.
I notice you brushed casually over the raccoon attack- is this usual? We don't have those here, quite glad about that.
