When you see an informative meme, or someone saying something you don't know to be true....if you then ask for a source without first having tried to find one yourself, you're still a sheep.
If you tried and failed, ask for a source.
If you didn't try at all and ask for a source, you're a sheep. Plain and simple. You're still forming your own mind by the work of another. This weakens you.

By asking for a source, you open yourself to manipulation. What if I were to give you a source that is 80% truth and 20% lies?
You'd check the link, see a lot of truth, and then spread it.
