So I've made the decision that I am not touching any of the experimental vaccines for medical reasons. However, there is an option that uses the same technology as your traditional flu shot, the Valneva inactivated shot, which won't be available probably until the end of the year.
I'd love to know what people's thoughts are on this. Again, very much aware that Q's are vax leery, but curious to hear why you all think.
For the all the glowies and smooth brained sheep lurkers who scan this place for stuff to rabble about on twitter and reddit.
No, we're not anti-vaxxers. No, what you're injecting with your body isn't a vaccine, it's more like a computer virus that will unknowingly rewrite your genetic code.
Vaccines are made with weakened strains or pieces of the antigen (virus), which trigger your immune alert system to have antibodies always at the ready should you be infected with the real deal.
Actual covid vaccines in the market using this model are the indian Covax, the chinese Coronavac (at least they say it is, I wouldn't touch it with a three foot pole), and the J&J Jansen one.
Unlike what's claimed around there, we encourage personal responsibility and research, so that's what I'll say to OP. Have a look, see what the thing's made of, check for possible side effects. In the end, it's all up to you.
