I was in a teleconference wear one guy was talking how there have been no flu cases because of masks and I cut him off with "well that's because they reclassified them all as COVID cases." He got even more flustered when another guy in the meeting piped up "yeah my wife works in medical billing and has been telling me about it for months now how she needs to argue multiple times a day about cases that aren't really COVID but the hospitals want that extra money bad." He probably nearly had a mental breakdown from multiple people calling BS simultaneously on the lie he swallowed.
