Actually, he was released to a third party - a pastor and his wife and can't go home to his wife and kids. He can't be around kids period. The pastor's wife has agreed to do her piano lessons at a different place.

Josh has "unlimited access" to his six children with wife Anna present, though he is not allowed to be around minor children, including his siblings, nieces and nephews.
