Serious questions, seeking information and neither negatively judging not ridiculing Catholic thought. I prefer to have answers to religious questions from personally interested people, rather than only reading internet articles:
Q1: What is a "co-redemptrix"? Is it a normal Catholic doctrine that Mary has, in some capacity, redeemed Mankind alongside Jesus?
Q2: What is a perpetual virgin? In Matthew 13:55, Jesus is described as having brothers. The context of being mentioned alongside His parents suggests these are literal brothers (children of Joseph and Mary). By definition, Mary is then not a virgin. Is this not so?
This is kinda difficult topic. It may be best to just listen to some good sermons / talks on it. I'm not sure if I can do it justice.
This goes back to Simeon's prediction to Mary that "a sword will pierce your heart" (Luke 2:35). Her role in salvation is secondary, finite, and completely relies on Christ's redemptive work on the cross. However, she more fully than any other creature uniquely participates with Christ in His sufferings. Not "co" like in co-pilot but with Christ she suffers alongside Him and cooperates with Him. The simple, objective, historical fact is that she was a part of the redemption through Her suffering (i.e. imagine the pain of a mother having to give-up her only Son).
It's kinda like how God gives us many good things (money, friends, family, talent) but we must ultimately give them back up for His glory. The lay people also are co-redeemers in a way when we do reparation and suffer for our sins, or pray for others, we help to bring Christ's salvation to others.
It is a Catholic Doctrine that Mary was a Perpetual Virgin, before, during, and after the birth of Christ. She never had other children by Joseph or any other man. I think the response to the objection is that the word in aramaic for "brother, sister" is actually very broad and can include cousins as well. So the more accurate interpretation would be not full/half siblings of Christ but his cousins via the kinsfolk of Mary/Joseph.
So kinda like when some random person says "hey bro" or "brother." He's not calling you his actual relation or blood brother but it's just a friendly greeting.

Hello, ty for honest questions

God bless you! Keep asking questions.
she was when she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit birthed Jesus. She was not a virgin when she got pregnant after that.
