Just reading this makes me tear up!! Rush! ? I don’t think I could keep it together if I heard someone saying (with Rush’s iconic music in the background) “This is so and so filling in for Rush”. Gah! On the other hand, it would probably be worse if they permanently replaced him and stopped saying that all together. There’s just no winning with this one, he was larger than life and no one will ever be able to truly replace Rush so they might as well just keep doing what you described above. IMHO ??‍♀️
