Wow, do they already have everything and they don't really need to ask?

Does anyone know how many federal legislatures (I think) the Dems hold. I heard a Party needs 25 before you can take part in a Convention of States and in 2016 they only held 24 (though I think there was some fuckery and they got awarded another one)
It would be funny if it turned out in 2020 they shipped under 25 as it should mean they wouldn't be invited to a Convention if only the legistature offices are allowed to attend. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
ETA: Found this. https://freedomwire.com/article-v-convention-of-states/ So if the delegates from the State Legislatures are overwhelmingly Republican (as they hold more State Legislatures) that could be good. Wonder what happens if you have less than 25 state legislatures and you were disqualified - who would attend for those State in their place to represent?
I’m not quite certain. I know we hold the majority but you wouldn’t want a convention unless you had a certain majority because a convention can go for things like the First and Second Amendment as well.
I think it takes 34 states to call one
In the above link it said that a Convention would be limited in scope to 3 areas.
"The convention would be limited to three areas: 1) limit the size, scope, and jurisdiction of the federal government, 2) impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, and 3) create term limits for government officials.
The convention must stick to proposing amendments in those three areas; any proposed amendments outside of those topics would be void."
However it wasn't clear to me whether that would have to be agreed on before a convention, so nobody to could slip in other considerations for amendments. 34 States must call the Convention and 38 must ratify any amendment proposed at the convention.
I've been trying to Google the answer to that 25 minimum legislatures but not having any luck. I definitely saw that at the time of the 2016 election and that seemed to fly under the radar as I wondered what would happen if they fell behind the 25 (and they would have done if they hadn't gained one by a few hundred votes after a recount.) and the Red States had called a convention to say split California etc. Haha the Dems woud have gone crazy.
God I hope you guys pull this off. Looks as if it's the only way to put a halt to the Fed Gov!
