they latch on to proven lies like "very fine people", "golden showers", and more recently "Officer Sicknick bludgeoned to death" and "Muh blue pens tampering with ballots."

They will not give up their incorrect worldview no matter what. Some just cannot be saved until the narrative they love so much bites them on the ass like it bit all of us already.
