In 2016 I received multiple phone calls from people claiming to be from the 'Colorado Democratic Party' with a simple 'reminder to vote'. I had to remind them multiple times I was not a Democrat. Lo and behold, I get two ballots in the mail that election, valid as far as I could tell.
