I have looked at the videos a dozen times, and what I see is a guy point a gun at the woman, then turn it to his left as he fires, and then quickly turns it back at her. The gun was not pointed in her direction when it was fired. If she was actually shot, which I doubt, it was by someone else not seen in the video.
unless you have multipul angles of the action it is hard t know whether its an ilustion of perspective or not....example of this would be the George Floyd video that every one said that it was his neck the officer foot was on when the reality was different according to other cameras specifically the the police body cam.

It's not an illusion that the black guy aimed his gun at the woman, turned it to his left, fired, and then turned it back toward the woman.
