Kinsey was also a fraud. His two-part "Kinsey Report" was fraudulent and full of spurious claims and statistical impossibilities, yet hoodwinked virtually everyone. It has become the basis for post-1940s teachings, policies, and societal norms on sexuality. Without Kinsey, there would have been no sexual revolution.
