I'm still very hopeful. NCSWIC and all that. But I'm wondering if anyone here felt this same way LAST year at this time. By April of last year I was already disappointed that certain people I knew weren't seeing through the Covid thing. I figured the mask thing would be over by the warm weather last year. Now, I know there is far more to the masks than we are lead to believe.
Anyone else have memories of this time last year..... just saying "any day now" this will all go away?
I went to outside park hiking trails and whatnot this Mother’s Day and saw people with masks on and there was no one around. I am mystified why people are walking around hiking with masks on. So dumb.
I can barely express in language terms how much the mask thing bothers me. I almost literally CANNOT look at people wearing one.
I think that is also one of the objectives of masks. Psychological conditioning to see people as objects and not “people”.
I’ve noticed I don’t like looking at people either with masks on. It’s weird but my thought is that is same type of conditioning they do in military to get soldiers to fire not at an enemy that is a person but firing at an enemy that is a uniform or an object. I think same thing as when driving you yell at the asshole “car” that cut you off and not necessarily the person. Or on internet people willing to say awful things about people that they would never to their face .
