I'm still very hopeful. NCSWIC and all that. But I'm wondering if anyone here felt this same way LAST year at this time. By April of last year I was already disappointed that certain people I knew weren't seeing through the Covid thing. I figured the mask thing would be over by the warm weather last year. Now, I know there is far more to the masks than we are lead to believe.
Anyone else have memories of this time last year..... just saying "any day now" this will all go away?
After the April 2020 peak, I gave it 2 months. June arrives; no "second wave", so I ditched voluntary use of the mask from that point since. Unfortunately, I had to put one on for school or work now & then but for the briefest times as I could. I'd stick a pen or pencil to push the mask out on one side so I could freaking breathe. Hate those things! Never wore one outside ever, except back in April 2020. Don't understand how people can do that to themselves. I'd probably be fined if I lived in a commie state, because I'd raise a fuss if they bullied me to.
